In order to redeem mankind from their sinful state, a ransom was required. So, as High Priest, what sacrifice could Jesus offer that would completely cover the inherited sin of believing ones? As he indicated when instituting the Memorial of his death, his own perfect human life was the sacrifice. (Heb. 9:11, 12) From the time of his baptism in 29 C.E., Jesus as High Priest submitted to tests and training until the time of his actual death. (Heb. 4:15; 5:7-10) After he was resurrected, he ascended to heaven and presented the value of his sacrifice to Jehovah himself. (Heb. 9:24) Thereafter, Jesus could plead with Jehovah on behalf of those exercising faith in his sacrifice and assist them to serve God with everlasting life in view. (Heb. 7:25) His sacrifice also served to validate the new covenant.—Heb. 8:6; 9:15.
On Nisan 14 that ransom was paid. 1Timothy 2:5-10 says; 5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all this is what is to be witnessed to in its own due time. 7 For the purpose of this witness I was appointed a preacher and an apostle I am telling the truth, I am not lying a teacher of nations in the matter of faith and truth. 8 So I desire that in every place the men carry on prayer, lifting up loyal hands, without anger and debates. 9 Likewise, the women should adorn themselves in appropriate dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive clothing, 10 but in the way that is proper for women professing devotion to God, namely, through good works."
John 3:16 say; 16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."
John 17:3 says: 'This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." Therefore 1) the taking in of knowledge is the foundation of this building work, 2) Then personal dedication by prayer 3) Then Conversion or your personal desire to serve Jehovah and put on the new personality Ephesians 4:22-24 which says; "You were taught to put away the old personality that conforms to your former course of conduct and that is being corrupted according to its deceptive desires. 23 And you should continue to be made new in your dominant mental attitude, 24 and should put on the new personality that was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty." 4) Then Public declaration by water baptism 5) Then there is the public ministry which is putting to work a display of your beliefs for men & angels to know your stand. This building work is often done amidst opposition or resistance, both from family and from those to whom we preach.
